The UMI 2958 GT-CNRS is a close collaboration between two French “grandes écoles d’ingénieurs” (French engineering schools), two French universities, and one American university.

Georgia Tech is a world-renowned institute for science and technology. The main campus is situated in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. Its European campus, Georgia Tech Lorraine, is the headquarters of the GT-CNRS UMI 2958 laboratory.

Supélec is a “grande école d’ingénieurs” (French engineering school). Its areas of expertise are electrical engineering and computer science. Three campuses exist: Gif, Rennes, and Metz. The Metz campus collaborates closely with the UMI on research in secure communications and semiconductor materials.

ENSAM ParisTech is a “grande école d’ingénieurs” (French engineering school). Its areas of expertise are mechanical and industrial engineering and materials science. It is represented by campuses in several regions of France. The Metz campus closely collaborates with the UMI in research on multifunctional materials.
