Partner Laboratories

The fundamental and applied areas of research of the GT-CNRS UMI 2958 are within the framework of scientific collaboration with several “unités mixtes de recherche (UMR)” which are French research laboratories that operate in partnership with the French Centre Nationale de Recherche (CNRS). These laboratories include the LMOPS UMR 7132 and the LPMM UMR 7554 which are associate members of the UMI.


FEMTO-ST UMR 6174 - Franche-Comté Electronique Mecanique Thermique et Optique
- Sciences et Technologies

Franche-Comté Electronics Mechanics Thermals and Optics - Science and Technology

Within the CNRS, FEMTO-ST belongs to the Sciences and Technologies of Information and Engineering Department (ST2I) . It gathers completary skills, develops multidisciplinarity with an emphasis on scientific excellence and innovation. The laboratory collaborates closely with the UMI on the research theme secure communication networks.

LMOPS UMR 7132 - Laboratoire des Matériaux Optiques, Photoniques et Systèmes
Laboratory of Optical Materials, Photonics, and Systems

This laboratory is a “unité mixte de recherche (UMR)” of the CNRS with the University of Paul Verlaine – Metz and Supélec. Its areas of study are optical applications and the characterization of optical materials. The laboratory collaborates on several research themes within the UMI, namely secure communication networks and innovative materials.

LPMM UMR 7554 - Laboratoire de Physique et Mécanique des Matériaux
Laboratory of Physics and Mechanics of Materials

This laboratory is a “unité mixte de recherche (UMR)” of the CNRS with the University of Paul Verlaine – Metz and ENSAM ParisTech. Its areas of research are the study of structural and functional properties of materials. The laboratory collaborates closely with the UMI on the research theme of innovative materials.
